Particularly the older form of cast iron ears with a "7" shaped ears. It is aesthetically pleasing by itself with numerous markings of being hand hammered. It could be used as part of a primitive display or could find function among an antique fireplace hearth setting. Would be a great for a cauldron that does not have a bail.
