Description: Original 1899 copy of "Camps in the Caribbees: The Adventures of a Naturalist in the Lesser Antilles," in its rare original dust jacket. The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild soiling and wear. The binding is good and sound. The dustjacket is only in fair condition with some chips and tears. It comes in a protective mylar wrapper. There is a name inscription to the front fep. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean, though there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness, or some kind of minor imperfection, such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, light bit of soiling, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 7 5/8 inches by 5 1/4 inches and is 366 pages long with some black and white illustrations. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
