Description: Antique 1882 "Excelsior Diary" daily journal of one John C. Mann (1843-1895) in Wayne county, New York. It seems likely that he was a farmer since many of the entries mention working with grain and other crops. Filled front to back on nearly every page with diary entries and some scribbled figures. Rear hinge cracked and loose. Minor waterstaining to some pages. Book does have a tobacco smell. Measures 5" x 3". Shipping on multiple items is combined whenever possible.
