Description: RARE @ 9" tall by 6" wide multi-paged Abraham Lincoln tomb booklet distributed at the Lincoln Tomb in Springfield Illinois and has been 100% authentically HAND-SIGNED / AUTOGRAPHED inside by the longtime custodian of the tomb Herbert Wells Fay (Died in 1949-See info below)-Cover titled "Lincoln Tomb", it has GREAT photos, history & info inside (See photos below)-The last page has the 3-D embossed stamp reading: "H.W. Fay Custodian Lincoln Tomb Springfield, Illinois" in the upper left corner and Mr. Fay has inserted a genuine Oak Tree relic leaf inside and has signed "Oak Leaf from tomb of Lincoln." at top and "Compliments H.W. Fay Custodian Lincoln Tomb. I only have the one, so grab it while you can- Here is some info on Mr. Fay: Herbert Wells Fay (1859-1949) was born in DeKalb County, Illinois. He was part owner of the Hinckley (Illinois) Review and later co-owned the DeKalb Review. He was also a DeKalb county surveyor and member of the DeKalb Board of Education. Fay began collecting historical portraits in 1886, particularly of international figures, US politicians, and famous authors and artists. Fay used his collection to illustrate the National Cyclopedia of American Biography, of which he was associate editor. He was the custodian, historian, and tour guide of the Lincoln Tomb at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois, from 1921 to 1948. This is an ORIGINAL item, NOT A REPRODUCTION item!
