They are NOT MISSING ANY PEGS, there absolutely needs to be a nub on the top AND on the bottom, because otherwise the door will just fall down, these nubs hold it in place upright.When inserting the door, bend the door slightly to fit the nubs into place.This coloring is faded, the nice yellow when originally mfg is gone, the frames are partially white partially yellow and the inside plastic has turned orange.But the inside plastic, even though faded, are virtually not even scratched. **Do not buy doors and windows from other sellers if nubs/pegs are missing because they will not work, those windows and doors just fall down.I have sold probably 10 of these houses over the years, the nubs on the doors and windows are very important in order for them to stay up. However the small horizontal windows do not have nubs, they have holes and if these holes are cracked or chipped away, the windows will not stay in - with these windows the nubs are the dollhouse frame itself.These dollhouses end up being all shades of white to yellow to faded yellow to orange; it all depends on the lighting and heating in your home, also if the sun shines directly onto the dollhouse from a window.
