After surviving the ups and downs of the Great Recession and Covid, Paul Sr and OCC have left Orange County for orange country. The makers of the finest hand-crafted, American made motorcycles in the world have built the Orange County Choppers Roadhouse and Museum along with a restaurant that also features a massive 25,000-square-foot pavilion for concerts, outdoor dining, a billiards hall, floor games and other entertainment, and a retail store loaded with merchandise and collectibles for bikers, friends, and fans. What the guys at OCC do to choppers in that shop is heads and shoulders above any of the closest competition in terms of creativity. As you can see for yourself in the pictures, these guys were imaginative. They molded any style necessary to get their customer a truly one-of-a-kind bike. The Black Widow is one of the more unusual and beautiful bikes OC choppers has ever produced. It features some wildly wicked welding work. Built ahead of the anti-venom chopper, the black widow is a thing of pure beauty, wrapped in chrome spider web. There’s even web detailing in the wheels and some pretty sly chrome work on the transmission. The Comanche Bike was inspired by the RAH-66 Comanche Helicopter. It was debuted at an event in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Earlier in the day Vinnie had started the bike only to have the engine spin a bearing. The engine's original builder, Joe from H&M Motors flew to SC and with others from the OCC Crew attempted to fix the massive problems with the engine. In the last seconds (quite literally), the crew got the bike started up, and released it to the public with great success. The Custom Rigid was given away in "Rolling with the Teutuls" sweepstakes. The premise of the sweepstakes was that Pauls Senior and Junior would have a bike build off to see who could build the better bike. At the conclusion of the build off the two bikes would be judged by the fans and the winner would become the third OCC production bike. Based around a Harley Davidson replica frame, the Old School Chopper has an 88-cubic-inch pan head motor that delivers 40 horsepower through a chain drive. It also features a springer front end, sportster style tank, old style ape hanger handlebars and Jockey shift/Suicide clutch. Most of the fabrication on this bike was done by OCC's former student intern, Cody Connelly, as a joint project with Paul Sr. Despite the bike being presented to Connelly at the end of the episode, it was later returned to OCC and became the subject of a lawsuit by Connelly. Dispelling the myth that production bikes lose their personality somewhere on the assembly line, OCC created the T-Rex Softail. With its large diameter frame and aggressive, 45-degree rake, the T-Rex Softail is a true chopper. A wide, 240 mm rear tire combines great looks with a sure-footed, comfortable ride and the low, custom seat easily accommodates most riders. The right-side drive provides balance and smooth handling, while original OCC wheels and drag bars enhance the classic chopper look. All wiring on the T-Rex Softail is internal, so nothing interferes with the distinctive styling of this unique, high-performance cruiser. Aaand ... we saved the best for last. The Fire Bike was created by everyone at OCC, the project holding huge emotional weight with its ties to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It was, as Paul Teutul Sr put it, "not just an Orange County Chopper, it's a New York City Chopper." This memorial fire bike build is a tribute to the resilience of the American people regrouping after the tragic event. The really special part about this build is the bike contains a piece of metal recovered from the world trade center. The rest of the bike is pure beauty from the ladder suspension covers, cab shaped gas tank, fire hose exhaust pipes and plenty of diamond plated accents.
