Description: Pair of 1902 rare-form Stickley Brothers Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan- arm chairs - quarter sawn oak with upholstered seat cushions ( removable for easy care ), rattan cane-backs and two pillows. They have Barley Twist carved stretchers with a center stretcher connected to the other two stretchers. They have bun feet on the front legs. The Legs and the stretchers are in the very desirable barley twist (spiral) shapes. Both chairs have the wood-burned Stickley Bros. Grand Rapids, Michigan makers identification marks and we also find the original Quaint Furniture Store sticky labels that help to identify the origin date of 1902. Albert and George Stickley Brothers Furniture Co 1891 -1922. Mission style and Arts and Crafts style furnitures. CONDITION: VERY GOOD age-appropriate conditions, maybe some age- related dust that is easy to clean. Overall it is very good condition. DIMENSIONS: The seats are 21 1/2" wide x 18 3/4" deep x 16" height from the floor to the seats. The chairs are 25 1/2" distance of the arms to the floor.
