The engine #1776 is DC but can be upgraded to DCC, and does not have sound. A snowplow, cab mounted beacon, bell, horns, and Kadee couplers have been installed on both units. BN Bicentennial unit #1776 was a GE U30C, originally delivered (and later renumbered) 5325. It was Burlington Northern's 'original' Bicentennial unit.
