Drafted 21st overall in the 1993 NFL Draft from Ohio St. He played all eight years with Minnesota. He broke a 1,000 yards rushing in each of his final four years. His efforts earned Smith Pro Bowl selections in both 1998 and 2000. The Vikings went to the playoffs in 7 of his 8 NFL seasons including the historic 1998 team that went 15-1 during the regular season and just fell short of a Super Bowl berth in the '98 NFCCG. His last year would be his finest as a Viking as he put up over 1500 yards rushing and 10 total touchdowns that gave Smith his only All-Pro honor in 2000. Shown here is Robert Smith's NFL Pro Line retail home authentic jersey from the historic 1998 season. Starter supplied the Vikings uniforms from 1994-1998 before moving to Puma in '99. Made in El Salvador with tagging showing 1998 so you know it's a year specific jersey when Minnesota went 15-1. Size is a 48 which is an adult XL. Measures 32" top to bottom and 23" pit to pit. Jersey is in great shape for being over 25 years old. Only flaws I would point out is some light stains on the back numbers (see last pics). This is an essential item to have for any Minnesota fan or 90s collector to have as true Smith retail authentics in this size are tougher to come by unlike similar Moss or Carter's from the same year.
