1983 Children's Book Council Poster Jane Breskin Zalben Summer Reading Beach

Description: This listing is for a 1983 Summer Reading poster from The Children's Book Council. This poster features art from children's book author and illustrator Jane Breskin Zalben. It measures approximately 13 1/2" tall by 19 1/2" wide. The poster has a deep vertical fold crease (See 15th-18th Photos - washed out areas are just glare to make the crease visible to the camera). Also has a lot of lighter, small handling creases. Has some deeper creases to the outer edge (19th Photo - example). Has some other general surface wear (light scratches, scuffs, etc) with the most noticeable example I saw being a mark/scuff in the water (See 20th Photo - washed out area is just glare to make the mark stand out more to the camera). Reverse shows some signs of age yellowing. While a touch of yellow can be seen to the outer edge of the pink border, there does not appear to be any visible effect on the illustration itself. Reverse side has some soiling and scuffing (21st/22nd Photos - examples). Has eight small holes near the edges, presumably made by four staples (See Last Photo for example). Reverse side has library stamp. In short, pretty obviously used w/ cosmetic issues, but the illustration remains clear. Please see included photos. The empty space in the tube will have bubble wrap to help prevent wear from shifting in transit.
