Description: A circa 1940s 1950s cast iron Hubley Army 45 Colt style toy cap gun replica pistol. Serial number 2137154.Fairly scarce and a superb addition to your collection! Gun haswhite plastic grips wrapped around the cast iron Colt logo. Some original red paint on the Colt logo is present. 50 shot with a pop-up cap loader. The hammer, trigger, and loader work properly. Overall, the cap gun is in nice visual condition. However, rust, patina, and storage wear such as light surface scuffs and scratches are present. Additionally, the grips each have a small crack. The cast iron frame under the right grip has a missing piece, and some cracks that appear to have been repaired. All cap guns are assumed to have been fired. I haven't tried it, but it looks like it will fire properly. Funny, called the Army 45, but they are actually modeled on the Colt Pocket Pistol 1903 in .32 cal. Measures roughly 6 3/8" from barrel to grip. See photos for the best description. Thanks for looking! This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug. {e244009-963396x}
