Very good condition, with very light wear and soiling, few faint creases.Oscar Tschirky was a Swiss-American restaurateur who was maître d'hôtel of Delmonico's Restaurant and subsequently the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. He was widely known as "Oscar of the Waldorf," due to his 50 year career there, and he published a large cookbook.
