Bullock was a recently hired protege of Arthur Letts, the very successful head of The Broadway, who installed Bullock in a store that was to cater to more upscale clientele and possibly to became a Broadway branch. The flagship Bullock’s, which opened in 1907, was in a prime location in the downtown Los Angeles shopping district at the corner of Broadway and Hill Street. In good antique condition.
