Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 123 years old from an 1895 edition of W. & A.K. Johnston's The World-Wide Atlas of Modern Geography Political and Physical, published by the W. & A.K. Johnston in Edinburgh & London, 1895, a copy of the title page of the Atlas is included with the map. It is being sold as a single sheet, not mounted, matted nor framed, basically as seen in the pic. The brothers, William and Alexander Keith Johnston were very capable and prolific cartographers known for their accuracy, fine detail and well designed maps and atlases, active during the second half of the 19th century. Overall, a very nicely preserved map with strong color and good detail that would frame up well. Size: The map area measures approximately 8x10 inches (20x25cm) on a 9 1/2 by 12 inch page (24x30cm), nice margin all around for framing. Condition: Both sides are in Good condition, printed on a buff page. There is a crease on the bottom right corner, otherwise it is very clean with no obvious defects to mention, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
