Covers and spines have age-related wear, discoloration, and the front cover is slightly bent about halfway between the two edges. The front cover board is very loose, and the back board is slightly loose. First few pages are nearly entirely detached. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges are in good condition and pages have support throughout. Plates have slight toning, but are in good condition and clear to see. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Leo Lesquereux was a Swiss botanist and one of the founding members of the field of paleobotany in the United States. Despite not having had formal training in botany, Lesquereux became one of the most well-known figures in paleobotany during his career.
