Free Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description: It is an authentic antique copper engraved print approximately 160 years old. It is printed on a heavy page, blank on the reverse. It is from Colonel Williams' Life and Times of the Late Duke of Wellington (London: John Tallis & Co., circa 1852). A facsimile copy of the title page is included for authenticity. Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington, (1769-1852) had a very distinguished career, serving in many of the various wars during his lifetime, including India and the British campaign against Napoloeon, culminating at the Battle of Waterloo where he was Field Marshall. Later, he served twice as Prime Minster of the United Kingdom. These prints chronicle his life and comrades and the historical events during this era. The print, as shown, is being sold as a single sheet and is not mounted, matted or framed, basically as seen in the pic. Size: The page measures 7 1/4 by 10 1/2 inches (16x27cm) with the printed area slightly smaller as seen in the pic. Condition: The print is in Fair to Good condition for its age, printed on heavy paper, blank on the reverse. It is basically as seen in the pic. There are a few binding holes along the bottom edge and some handling smudge around the margins, otherwise it is very clean and would frame up nicely, see the pics for more on condition.
